Veteran's Day
This special holiday is meant to honor those who have died in service to our country and thank those who have served. Originally known as Armistice Day, it was proclaimed in 1919 by President Woodrow Wilson and became a legal federal holiday in 1938.
Not to be confused with Memorial Day (when we honor those who have died during military service) or Armed Forces Day (when we honor active, guard and reserve forces who currently serve), Veterans Day is all about celebrating those men and women who have served, and are currently serving, in the U.S. military.
Veterans Day is an opportunity to do the same, but it is also an appropriate time to show your appreciation to Veteran friends and family.
Lets do that... THANK YOU !!!
