Call PA One Call System at least (3) days before you dig - 8-1-1 or 1-800-242-1776.
PA One Call will notify you of your status of the member facility owner's status on your dig at the end of the 2nd business day for routine calls, (2) hours for emergency notices.
Maintain a safe distances - Markings indicate the approximate location of buried lines. Hand-Dig test holes to determine the precise location.
If you expose an underground line, it must be supported and protected while working.
The excavator must notify PA One Call if markings are destroyed before diggin begins or if the digging is delayed 10 or more business days.
