Welcome to Fall-Autumn Season.

What does it mean though...?

It means:

Colder weather = Bulk up on sweatshirts and break out your jackets.

Wet weather = Good windshield wipers, water-filled pot holes and water resistant boots.

Windy weather = Secure your blueprints and back yard umbrellas, pack up fly-away items, use caution enjoying your outdoor fire pit.

Changing weather = Eating for your health:  fruits, veggies, nuts, vitamins, anti-oxidants and power foods.

Unpredictable weather = Good tires, change of clothes, look-ahead weather reports.

Unforseen weather = Prepare for loss of power, change flashlight batteries, practice your home evacuation and meet-up plan.

While many of us will start thinking about typical Fall things like pumpkin spice 'everything', heavy sweaters, and planning our Halloween costumes... there is so much more to this season.  It is the time of the harvest, of preparing for the longer and colder nights, and of personal reflection.  Even though the times of day and night aren’t quite equal, the overall energy of this time is one of balance and equilibrium.  Summertime tends to be a busy season and the end-of-year holiday season is usually equally frenetic, leaving the beginning of Fall-Autumn to help us to find our center of balance and to ground ourselves and it's about to show us how beautiful it is to let things go.

The seasons are changing, and although many of us hate to say goodbye to the carefree days of Summer, Autumn-Fall is once again upon us.  Everything is in balance again, day and night, light and dark.  And as such, it is a perfect time to reflect on who we were, who we have become, and who we will be.
